Inspired by Dr. Gerald Moyer, a dentist from Colorado, USA, who developed the world’s first dental water jet with the assistance of Dr. John Matt Mattingly, an engineer at Colorado State University. These 2 scholars completed the development of the world’s first dental water jet and successfully obtained a patent for the invention in 1962.
